Kelsey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position as the Community Care Coordinator. Thanks to funding provided by the Early Childhood Block Grant, she works as a community connector for appropriate individuals and families providing interventions and activities designed to improve the holistic well-being of citizens that seek support. This includes conducting assessments and individual service plans, implementing evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions, providing resources and referrals, aiding in systems navigation, and engaging in helping families advocate for themselves. Services are provided at the Hutchinson Public Library. Kelsey also engages in community collaboration activities, educates and strengthens relationships across the nonprofit and medical sector.
